RegulationsSL 2024/14610 July 2024
Principal Act
These regulations amend the Prohibited Behaviour Orders Regulations 2011 to include assault on retail workers as an offence that can trigger a Prohibited Behaviour Order and to clarify the penalty for repeat offences under section 378 of The Criminal Code.
Retail workers are afforded greater protection through the inclusion of assault on retail workers as an offence that can trigger a Prohibited Behaviour Order. The amendment also clarifies the application of penalties for repeat offences, potentially leading to more consistent application of the law.
