๐ Criminal Procedure Amendment Rules 2023
RulesSL 2023/2014 March 2023
Principal Act
These rules amend the Criminal Procedure Rules 2005 to allow for electronic production of records and things to the court, and to clarify requirements for producing copies of records instead of originals in summonses.
This affects witnesses summoned to produce records or things in court, allowing them to do so electronically. It also affects court staff who need to handle electronic submissions. The changes aim to modernize court procedures and reduce the burden on witnesses.
