Firearms Act 2024

These regulations amend the Firearms Regulations 2024, updating definitions, authorised persons, paintball rules for young people, club firearm rules, safe storage exemptions, and transitional arrangements from the 1973 Act.

Firearm clubs, licensees, and authorised persons are affected by new conditions regarding young people's participation in paintball and firearm activities. Landholders and native title holders are affected by the authorised person definition. Businesses may need to update record-keeping.
