These regulations amend the Community Titles Regulations 2021 and the Strata Titles (General) Regulations 2019, updating educational and experience requirements for scheme and strata managers, and introducing transitional provisions. They also address criminal record checks and strata management contract requirements.
Scheme and strata managers, principals, scheme community managers, and assistant scheme community managers will be affected by the new educational and experience qualification requirements. Scheme managers will need to obtain criminal record checks for relevant personnel. Transitional provisions provide time to comply with the new requirements.
