Transport (Road Passenger Services) Act 2018

These regulations amend the Transport (Road Passenger Services) Regulations 2020 to introduce and regulate the Passenger Transport Subsidy Scheme (PTSS), including smartcard usage, subsidy payments, and information reporting requirements.

On-demand passenger transport service providers and drivers are affected by new rules regarding PTSS smartcard acceptance, data reporting, and electronic device requirements. Passengers using the PTSS will be affected by smartcard usage rules.
