These regulations amend the Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations 2022 to include provisions for managing psychosocial risks in the workplace and introduce a framework for regulator-directed medical examinations of workers.

Businesses and undertakings are affected by the new requirements to manage psychosocial risks and comply with medical examination notices. Workers are affected by the introduction of medical examinations directed by the regulator and the rights associated with those examinations.
