These regulations amend the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Regulations 2022. They define terms, outline notice requirements for local Aboriginal Cultural Heritage (ACH) services, and specify conditions and activities related to protected areas.
Local ACH services are affected by new notice requirements. Applicants for activities in protected areas and other notified parties are affected by notice requirements related to Ministerial directions. The regulations also clarify permissible activities within protected areas.
