Principal Act
The Juries Amendment Regulations 2023 amends the Juries Regulations 2008. The amendments increase the allowance paid to jurors, increase the kilometre allowance for travel, and update the payment options and contact details on jury service forms.
Jurors will receive a higher daily allowance and increased reimbursement for travel expenses. Individuals receiving infringement notices will have updated payment options and contact information. Courts and the Sheriff's Office will use updated forms.
