These regulations amend the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management (Identification and Movement of Stock and Apiaries) Regulations 2013 to include poultry and emus in certain provisions related to stock identification and movement. They also remove Part 7 Division 3.
Owners and purchasers of poultry, emus, and ostriches are affected. Those with fewer than 50 poultry and fewer than 10 emus/ostriches, who do not own other stock species, are exempt from certain regulations. The removal of Part 7 Division 3 will affect those previously subject to it.
