This code amends the Code of Conduct for the Supply of Electricity to Small Use Customers 2022. Key changes include prohibiting retailers from charging certain customers for paper bills and modifying requirements related to payment plans and medical confirmations.

Customers receiving concessions, experiencing financial hardship, or classified as vulnerable will no longer be charged for paper bills. Retailers must also provide annual tariff information to non-contestable customers and adjust processes for payment plans and handling incorrect meter data.
