Amends the Environmental Protection (Prohibited Plastics and Balloons) Regulations 2018 to update prohibited plastic items, clarify exemptions, and introduce regulations for protective packaging disposal.

Businesses supplying certain goods, particularly those involving protective packaging and barrier bags, will need to ensure compliance with new disposal requirements and standards. Qualified installers face new obligations for disposing of protective packaging. Consumers may see changes in packaging.
