Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Levy Act 2007

These regulations amend the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Levy Regulations 2008 to increase the levy rates for waste disposal. The changes come into effect on July 1, 2025.

Businesses and individuals involved in waste disposal will be affected by the increased levy rates. This will likely increase the cost of waste disposal services.
