These regulations amend the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Regulations 2004 to update definitions of corresponding juvenile and general offender reporting orders, and introduce requirements for electronic reporting, including photographs of the offender and any tattoos or distinguishing marks.
Reportable offenders who use electronic reporting methods must now include specific photographs. The changes also affect how interstate orders are recognised in WA, impacting offenders who have reporting obligations in other jurisdictions.
