These regulations amend the Health and Disability Services (Complaints) Regulations 2010 to prescribe offences, interstate orders, and a code of conduct for certain health care workers. It also updates a reference to a company name and inserts new schedules.
Health care workers (registered and unregistered) are affected by the new code of conduct. The regulations also impact the handling of complaints and prohibition orders related to health services, affecting both providers and consumers. Interstate orders are now recognised.
