Principal Act
These regulations amend the Security and Related Activities (Control) Regulations 1997 to include accountants acting in their professional capacity as persons exempt from certain provisions. It also clarifies the wording of existing exemptions.
Accountants are now explicitly exempt from certain provisions of the Security and Related Activities (Control) Act 1996 when acting in their professional capacity. This reduces regulatory burden on accountants.
