These regulations amend the Jetties Regulations 1940 and the Mooring Regulations 1998 to allow the chief executive officer or an authorised fee officer to waive or refund fees related to jetties and moorings. It also mandates the publication of waiver details on a public website.

Businesses and individuals using jetties and moorings may benefit from potential fee waivers or refunds. The Department is required to publish details of fee waivers on its website, increasing transparency.
