Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Levy Act 2007

These regulations amend the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Levy Regulations 2008 to increase the levy rates. They also repeal the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Levy Amendment Regulations 2023.

Businesses and individuals disposing of waste will be affected by the increased levy rates. The changes will likely increase the cost of waste disposal.
