AG401 BIOSECURITY AND AGRICULTURE MANAGEMENT REGULATIONS 2013 QUARANTINE AREA NOTICE Queensland Fruit Fly Bactrocera (Bactrocera) tryoni South Perth Outbreak 1. Under regulation 60 of the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Regulations 2013 (Regulations) the area described below is declared to constitute a quarantine area until 11:59pm on 26 September 2026. The area within a 15-kilometre radius of the intersection of South Terrace and Sandgate Street, South Perth, WA 6151. Note: A map of the quarantine area will be published on the website of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development. 2. This quarantine area is declared because the declared pest Bactrocera (Bactrocera) tryoni (Queensland fruit fly or Qfly) was present in the area on 27 March 2026 and there are reasonable grounds to suspect the declared pest remains in, or in the vicinity of, the area. 3. In this notice— “corrective action zone” means— The area (within the quarantine area) with a border described as follows and shown on a map of the corrective action zone which will be published on the website of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development— Starting at the corner of Canning Hwy and Lansdowne Rd, Kensington: south-west of Lansdowne Rd, south-east of Sixth Ave, south-west of Gwenyfred Rd, south-east of Rathay St, south-west of Berwick St, north-west of Kent St, south-west of Devenish St, north-west of Basinghall St, south-west of Etwell St, north-west of Nottingham St, south-west of Jarrah Rd, north-west of the private access road of Polytechnic West (beginning opposite 44 Jarrah Rd, East Victoria Park and extending south-west to its intersection with the round-about on Hayman Rd), west of Dumas Rd, north of University Bvd, west and north of Karrak Dr, west of Kent St, north of Jackson Rd and continuing north of the western projection of Jackson Rd until its intersection with the dual use footpath (path follows the boundary of Como Secondary College), north-west
