FI401 FISH RESOURCES MANAGEMENT ACT 1994 BROOME PRAWN MANAGED FISHERY MANAGEMENT PLAN 1999 NOTICE OF AREAS CLOSED TO FISHING FOR PRAWNS IN THE BROOME PRAWN MANAGED FISHERY Notice No. 1 of 2026 I, Nathan Harrison, Executive Director, Fisheries and Aquaculture, in accordance with clause 12 of the Broome Prawn Managed Fishery Management Plan 1999 (the Plan), being of the opinion that the prohibition is required in the better interests of the Broome Prawn Managed Fishery, do hereby— 1. prohibit fishing for prawns in those parts of the Broome Prawn Managed Fishery (the Fishery), as described in Schedule 2 of the Plan from 0800 hours WST on 8 October in any year until 1700 hours WST on 15 May the following year.
