The Minister for Planning has granted approval to the declaration of a planning control area over the land required for railway (METRONET) purposes as shown Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) plan number 3.2737. The purpose of the planning control area is to facilitate redevelopment of Claremont station and enable works required for railways and related public purposes. The declaration remains in effect for a period of five years from the date of publication.
