It is hereby notified for public information, in accordance with section 87 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 that the Minister for Planning approved the abovementioned amendment to the City of Perth City Planning Scheme No. 2 on 6 January 2026 for the purpose of inserting a new Special Control Area for the Northbridge Special Entertainment Precinct.

Requires landowners and occupiers within the City of Perth to remove inflammable matter and establish firebreaks by October 31, 2026, and maintain them until April 30, 2027.
Appoints individuals as Bush Fire Control Officers for the City of Perth.
Requires landowners/occupiers to remove inflammable matter from their land by October 31, 2020, and maintain it until April 30, 2021.
Appoints Konrad Seidl as Chief Bush Fire Control Officer and Vivian Browne as Deputy Chief Bush Fire Control Officer for the City of Perth, along with other Bush Fire Control Officers.
