MP406 PETROLEUM, GEOTHERMAL ENERGY AND GREENHOUSE GAS STORAGE ACT 1967 INSTRUMENT OF DELEGATION I, DAVID MICHAEL MLA, Minister for Mines and Petroleum for the State of Western Australia DO by this instrument of delegation pursuant to section 25 of the Petroleum, Geothermal Energy and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 1967 (WA) (the Act)— REVOKE any and all previous instruments of delegation made under the Act, including the previous instrument of delegation dated 17 November 2025. DELEGATE my powers and/or functions under the Act (which is incorporated and read as one with the Petroleum, Geothermal Energy and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Registration Fees) Act 1967 (WA) and the regulations made under the Act as specified in the Schedule to persons who for the time being hold or are authorised to act in the positions identified by the position numbers of the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration of the State of Western Australia listed in relation to the specified sections and regulations in the Schedule. This instrument of delegation does not operate to otherwise prevent the exercise of the powers and/or the performance of the functions herein delegated by myself, as Minister. None of the powers and/or functions delegated by this instrument of delegation can be delegated by the delegate. Dated at Perth this 28th day of May 2026. Hon.
