EV401 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT 1986 NOTICE OF APPELLABLE DECISION It is hereby notified for public information that the Chief Executive Officer of the Shire of Irwin, acting under delegation from the CEO under the Environmental Protection Act 1986, has made the following appellable decisions pursuant to Division 4 of the Environmental Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997, in relation to an application for approval to renew a noise management plan for a shooting venue, namely the ‘Noise Management Plan—Dongara Pistol Club Range’ dated August 2020— (a) approval of the noise management plan for the shooting venue; (b) the imposition of conditions on the approval of the noise management plan for the shooting venue; and (c) the specification of the period of 30 June 2030 as the period for which the approval has effect. Copies of the noise management plan and the approval notice, including the conditions of the approval, are available from the Shire of Irwin’s offices at 11-13 Waldeck Street, Dongara, or from the Shire of Irwin’s website: www.irwin.wa.gov.au Any person who is aggrieved by any of the above decisions may lodge an appeal. An appeal must be lodged within 21 days from the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette. The grounds for the appeal must be clearly stated. Appeals are to be addressed to the Minister for Environment and lodged with— Appeals Convenor for the Environmental Protection Act Level 22, Forrest Centre 221 St Georges Terrace Perth WA 6000 Appeals can also be lodged by hand delivery, by email to [email protected] or by fax to (08) 6467 5199. The appeal must be accompanied by a $50 fee.
