The Minister for Planning and Lands has approved Metropolitan Region Scheme Amendment 1434 (Standard) for Part Lot 3 Midland Road, Hazelmere. The amendment transfers approximately 3.22 hectares of land within Lot 3 and a portion of an adjacent road reserve from the Rural zone to the Urban zone under the MRS. This facilitates further planning for light industrial purposes. Concurrently, the land is rezoned to Industrial Development zone in the City of Swan Local Planning Scheme No. 17.
