It is hereby notified for public information, in accordance with section 87 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 that the Minister for Planning approved the City of Busselton Local Planning Scheme amendment on 13 December 2017 for the purpose of— 1. Rezoning Lot 500 Bussell Highway, Broadwater from ‘Tourist’ zone to ‘Residential (R40)’ zone and ‘Reserve for Recreation (Highway Buffer)’. 2. Rezoning Lot 502 Bussell Highway, Broadwater from ‘Tourist’ Zone and ‘Reserve for Recreation’ to ‘Residential (R40)’ Zone, ‘Reserve for Recreation (Highway Buffer Reserve)’ and ‘Unzoned Land (Road Reserve)’. 3. Introducing Special Provision Area #62 over those portions of Lot 500 and Lot 502 Bussell Highway, Broadwater to be rezoned to ‘Residential (R40)’, with the following to be inserted into Schedule 3 of the Scheme— No. Particulars of Zone Special Provisions Land 62 Lots 500 and 502 Residential R40 Prior to subdivision or development, Bussell Highway a structure plan is to be prepared by the proponent and approved pursuant to the requirements of the scheme. The Structure Plan in part, is to specifically address the protection of Western Ringtail Possum habitat on the site. 4. Amending the Scheme Maps accordingly.
