I refer to the selection of providers to operate Building Early Education Fund services in Western Australia, and I ask:
(a) What role will the WA Government have in determining or informing the selection of operators for the announced services;
(b) Where the State has such a role, what weight will be given to local knowledge, existing community relationships and demonstrated experience delivering Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) in WA; and
(c) Has the Minister made any representation to the Commonwealth regarding the accessibility of the application process for smaller WA-based and regional not-for-profit providers:
(i) If so, on what date and in what form; and
(ii) If not, will the Minister do so?
