This Order renews a previously declared state of emergency across the entire State of Western Australia due to ongoing disruptions in the supply of fuel caused by armed conflict and shipping issues in the Middle East. It vests the administration of the Fuel, Energy and Power Resources Act 1972 in the Minister for Energy and Decarbonisation.

The entire State of Western Australia is subject to a renewed state of emergency concerning fuel, which could lead to potential disruptions in fuel supply for businesses and the general public. The Minister for Energy and Decarbonisation will oversee the administration of the relevant Act during this period.
