A voluntary fisheries adjustment scheme is established, called the South Coast Line and Fish Trap Managed Fishery Voluntary Fisheries Adjustment Scheme 2026. The objectives are to allow persons authorised to operate in the Fishery to surrender authorisations, reduce fishing effort, and offset managerial or legislative changes. The scheme commences on the date of publication and ceases on 18 December 2026.
